Parent Corner

Cookie Walk: Our annual Cookie Walk is this weekend after all Masses. We need each family to make 4 dozen cookies. Cookies can be dropped off tonight before 6pm or tomorrow between 2:30pm and 4:00pm. Fundraisers require participation from all parents to be successful. We keep our tuition down by doing fundraisers. We are looking for volunteers to help out after Masses. Please let us know if you are available.
Home and School Meeting: Our Home and School family day is this Sunday, December 8, at 12:00. Please join us to decorate gingerbread houses and enjoy a light lunch. We are asking each family who attends to bring in a bag or two of candy to share. If you would like to make a crockpot of soup for this event, please let Mrs. Dvoracek know. Hope to see you there!
Christmas Program: Please join our St. Mary students as they present The Nativity this Wednesday, December 11, at 6pm. Refreshments will be served in the Family Center following the program.
Castle Train Wonderland: Castle Farms is hosting a Train Wonderland this weekend - December 7 and 8. They offer interactive and model trains, crafts, games and more. As a fundraiser, we are doing the food booth for this event. If anyone is interested in helping, please contact Mrs. Joy.
Prayers: Please pray for Mrs. Sharrow, our Title 1 teacher, and for her husband, Albert, who passed away on Thursday. Eternal rest grant unto Albert Sharrow, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen
Notice: Even though our school does not contain asbestos materials, in compliance with the US Environmental Protection Agency Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act of 1990, we have an asbestos management plan on file in the school administrative office. Everyone is welcome to view these at any time during normal school hours. Robert Westerman is available to answer any questions you may have. He can be reached at (989) 732-5417.
